I had a window of one day to make this trip down to the southern Oregon coast. There had been rain for days and more rain and gloomy days coming in the forecast. But the storms moved out for a single afternoon and I decided to take the long drive to clear my head and see what would transpire at this location. A place that I’ve sat at many times but never had the “perfect storm” of big rough seas and great sunset light. That was until this evening when everything came together as I had hoped. I think the rewards are sweetest when you can feel the salt water in the air and an ocean breeze in your hair.
